Principal's Welcome

Dear Central Elementary Families:

It is exciting to welcome you to Central Elementary School! We are honored to have you and your child as a part of our school community. At Central Elementary School, you will find an extremely talented group of caring and dedicated employees who set high expectations for themselves and our students daily. I am very proud of this school and community.

Before being selected as the principal at Central Elementary, I served as the middle school principal/activities director at Central Schools for 14 years. I loved my time working at the middle school and serving as the activities director. In addition, I spent three years in Lester Prairie, Minnesota as the secondary principal. I have fond memories of my time spent in Lester Prairie.

I was born and raised in Norwood Young America. I attended Central Schools my entire K-12 academic career. In addition, my wife, Sheila, and two adult kids are Central graduates. We love the community and school district. You may see me volunteering at our church, with the Lions, or at Stiftungsfest.

I hope to help foster collaboration between the parents, students, teachers, and the community at Central Elementary. When we all work together, we can help produce healthy, productive life-long learners in our school.
