Kurious Kids Preschool had a visit with firefighter Kevin Raether to learn about fire safety on Wednesday.
Firefighter Raether showed his gear and explained what the things were for. He talked about what to do if there was smoke; get down and crawl out, and checking the doors to see if they are hot. Finally, he showed some of the things on the fire truck and let the kids climb inside.
Thank you Firefighter Raether for taking time out of your day to educate our kids.
CONGRATULATIONS to our Volleyball players named in the 2023 MRC All-Conference Team!
Madalyn Neumann - NYA Central HS Senior - Middle Hitter
Madelyn Neumann is the daughter of Jennifer and Jason Neumann. Madalyn is a returning varsity player and played a variety of positions to start the season before settling into her role as a six rotation middle hitter for Central. The players chose her as a captain for her leadership on and off the court. Madalyn is a positive and encouraging voice on the court and willing to step in and plan, prepare or help with anything that needs to be done off the court. Madalyn contributed 32 kills with a hitting percentage of .259 as well as 28 digs, 18 blocks, and 5 aces in conference play this year.

The Middle/High School PTA will be hosting a meal for the Middle School and High School teachers during fall conferences to thank them for all they do.
If you appreciate our teachers and everything they do for our students please consider making a donation to help with the cost of the food. Cash or checks can be dropped off in the Middle School or High School offices (make checks payable to Central MS/HS PTA).
The meal will be provided for the 11/9 conferences. There is no minimum requirement for the donation amount - we appreciate anything you're able to donate to help provide this meal!
If you have any questions please contact Lindsay Schroeder or Jackie Krueger.

The Central Raiders Booster Club is excited to offer this apparel on-line store for Christmas!
This store is now open and will run thru midnight of Sunday, Nov 5th.
When we sell at events during the year, we get lots of suggestions and we are trying hard to make those suggestions a reality. We aren’t always able to stock everything so a special on-line store is the option we can offer.
This particular store has some of our favorites such as the hockey style sweatshirt. Please note that the laces on the sweatshirt you order will be in maroon and white. (Not the color in the picture). There’s also a long sleeve T, crew neck sweatshirt, flannel pants, polo shirt, and more. Please check out what’s all on this Christmas store!
Any coupon that you have cannot be used for an on-line store.
A member of the Boosters will reach out to you when we have received the orders so we can arrange pick-up/delivery. Delivery will be before Christmas.
Thanks for looking and supporting the Central Boosters!
Go Raiders!
