Unfortunately, as with many decisions over the past year, we will not be able to gather together as a group. However, that does not change the fact that we want to make sure and recognize our students for their accomplishments, achievements, and the scholarships that they have been awarded.
In place of gathering together, Central High School will be posting a virtual video slideshow on Monday, May 17, 2021 that will recognize our students who have received academic, activity, and monetary scholarships in grades 9-12.

Today kindergarteners had the opportunity to put what they have been learning about into real life. The Kindergarten teachers have been using a method of teaching this year called Problem Based learning in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world projects.
Kindergarten students have been earning pennies since after spring break. With donations from friends and family, we were able to set up a grade level store. Students sorted prizes according to prices and designed the classroom to resemble a store.
We were excited to have administration help check students out and support their learning by counting pennies with them. Students had to problem solve how they wanted to spend their money. For example, did they want to buy one big prize or several little prizes. Everyone left with smiles on their faces!
A HUGE thank you to those that donated!
The deadline for ordering a high school yearbook is Friday, May 14th. Cost is $60 and you can purchase your yearbook in the library. Orders will not be accepted after the deadline.
